Coronavirus Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Coronavirus

Rating: 5.0

Desire to eat wildlife meat
Creating killing virus
Spreading world-wide without restraint
Killing millions in its wake.

Countries in lock-down
People terrified
Many wearing face masks
Told only protection is washing hands.

Health workers trying to save lives
Doctors and nurses dying
Supermarkets struggle keeping shelves stocked
Elderly at supreme risk.
