Cotton And Denim Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Cotton And Denim

I am yours
As you are mine.
Our colors blending into one.
A shirt and a pair of pants
That fit like a memory.
Beneath the cotton and denim.
I am tangled in your warmth.
Vulnerable.
But not afraid.
When I am done I will undress
And fold you nice and neat.
But not before going out into the world.
Wearing this outfit crafted by you.
My heartbeat becoming yours.
Here I stand.
Outside in the world, seamlessly alone.
Our colors blending into one.
I've wrapped myself in your skin.
I am yours
As you are mine
