Covid-19 Is On My Mind Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

I just posted my poem with a good smile
About my physical exercise
Which keeps healthy my body and mind
And keeps my spirit flying high.

Now, two hours before the sunrise
I'm running to do my exercise.
My house cats were fed and now they lie
They watch me run my exercise.

It is very quiet outside.
Through the window, I watch the sky
Which is darkened by clouds floating by.
I watch raindrops falling in dim nightlight.

I run on the house floor to exercise
Until my heart rates reach a steady rise.
COVID-19 is on my mind
I pray for myself and for world wide.
