Cry Of Innocence - Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Does anyone listen
for the cries
of the innocent

Does anyone care
about the young
and the old

Do we have to pretend
we didn't hear
the babies cry

Do we have to pretend
someone cares for the old

Or do we do something now
For the young
and the old

I'm starting to think we write with the same heart Dave. Excellent sentiments and something we all have to face in the future.

Hi Dave, a great poem for the new year. Things we can start changing, because charity begins at home. Start listening, caring and actually start doing something. Take care... (Report) Reply
