Crystal Carpet Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Crystal Carpet

On road, rail track light powder sprite
laid crystal carpet, cotton white,
dawn's spawned from night with golden ray
a magic mantle drift to stay.

First fall, near zero farenheit,
with naught to steal the snow away
from wheel or train or station bay,
while freeze brings wheeze till Spring finds flight.

Thus with a little luck we might
enjoy the sight and share delight,
until snow thaws in April, May,
with Jack Frost lost to grass display.
