Currency's Horizon Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Currency's Horizon

Rating: 4.0

Time is never time at all,
As it leaves lives forever changed,
A currency that follows as is,
Without nickles, dimes,
Is it all ever the same,
A transparent view as a dollar held to the light,
Both sides are then seen,
I love you without knowing when or how,
I love you without bound, as the nickles and dimes of times currency multiply,
A horizon divided, times spent in wonderment,
As there is no equator to divide the pieces of me given to you,
The impossible is possible as today never knows what comes tomorrow,
But knows its to come,
Moments spent in wait of you,
The dawn, the coming of your smile,
The dusk, an evolution of the eclipse of your lashes,
A quarter of the moments spent crucified between you and I,
Hands crossed in unparalleled ways,
Time is never time at all,
The moments pass ever so quickly, never knowing what's to come,
Nor the destination,
The possible becomes impossible as there's never enough time,
Except in the eternity spent in your eye
