Currents Of Life Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Currents Of Life

As time passes by, the shadows softly creep,
A gentle etching where old memories sleep.
The vibrant hues of youth begin to fade,
Replaced by whispers of moments time has made.

The laughter's echo in a hallway's silent space,
A fleeting glimpse of a familiar face.
The lines that deepen on a weathered hand,
A map of journeys across a shifting sand.

The seasons turn, a constant quiet flow,
From budding spring to winter's gentle snow.
Each passing year, a lesson softly learned,
A tapestry of moments forever burned.

The dreams we chased, the hopes we held so dear,
May take new forms as passing years appear.
The heart remembers what the mind may lose,
A gentle rhythm, as life's currents choose.

As days go on, we find a noiseless grace,
In simple moments, in this transient space.
A sense of peace, as twilight's colors blend,
A journey's ending, where new beginnings tend.
