Curse-Of-Nature >>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

Curse-Of-Nature >>>

we heard noise downhill
rushing ripping every
obstacles on its way
a flash flood passing
we heard shouts for help
then disappear in darkness
it was terrible hour long

I heard footsteps down road
too dark to know who they are
maybe they're wet by pours
that's been going on for hours
we were told to stay home
watch cooking fire, be careful
tense moment like this is norm
life in forest farm, survival
