Dancing On The Edge (Fr. Sinead O' Connor 1966-2023) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Dancing On The Edge (Fr. Sinead O' Connor 1966-2023)

Rating: 5.0

You danced on the edge all yr life
First with the hatred yr mother had for you
Then when you exposed the atrocities of Church and state
You were ridiculed
Being told you're delusional
Lost yr fame; but you didn't care
You spoke the truth
And through the years, you continue to
Compose music
However, no one listen
Unknown to the cause of death
But we assume it was by yr hand
We'll never know for months
Have yr rest, Sinead, you suffered enough
Let the tributes roll in
