Run like the wind
Against the wintry clouds
Against the Iron Horse
That is faster than a bullet
Run like the wind
And feed the others yr dust
As you reach the summit
You curse those who want to destroy you
Finally, knowing yr strength
You look down and smile
It was all worth while
Great poem, LeeAnn. I could picture the horse running against the train, and love the way you finished with a rhyme. Five stars.
And feed the others yr dust.........true. Well done. Bravo
We may run against the night itself yet when we summit we appreciate even the difficulties and the strength we had to gain to defeat them. Powerful poem! !
