Dark Are The Times Poem by Laquory Jones

Dark Are The Times

We live in darker times it's via signs of
Things to come speak or get over run
Excuse the tone things are getting over
Blown look at the hatred shown as skills
Gets honed it must be fate as I try to eradicate
At a rapid pace eliminate the opposition in
Hand people will never understand I
Sometimes wonder what I have to do
To get through to you opinions skew but
Its over due I'm exhausted too while trying
To be the best poet that I can ever be

I only have one century don't sensor me
Pain only runs skin deep but it's the soul
That makes you unique at least that what was
Told to me Its pure destiny To overcome the
Scrutiny People put On both you and me

Together we can redefine the times
(Now Richie you're on a thin line)
People watching everything you do
Trying to judge and spilling things
That are untrue No reason to hold
A grudge still on the center-line
That I find myself trudging
My stature is international
I'm not taking an sabbatical

Veins are filled with too much
Adrenaline as I take in my second
Wind how much of my back do I have
To bend for us to grow when feelings
Show perhaps I was an miracle and
Hence you were mine
(Will we ever know)
Too many thoughts giving stress
(Are we truly Blessed)
When each Line is put to a test
It's just me over-stressed
But be reassured
I will never give-up
