Dawn Light Poem by Sandra Fowler

Dawn Light

Rating: 4.9

The moment is as delicate as flowers.
A call for trillium is a call for spring.
Dawn rises fragile as a yellow bird.
How many ways can light say beautiful?

Vocabulary fails to capture it.
The essence is too rare for human speech.
And yet from somewhere far across the world,
I feel the brightness of your warm regards.

Sandra, You've managed to capture the essence of inexplicable feeling. In that moment when we're filled with emotion as we stare in awe at the beauty of our world, we often make the connection between what we see and the souls of others we care for. Put into words 'as delicate as flowers'.

a wonderful poem for the dawn which i adore..speachless our poems when we try to measure that beauty which can't be measured...you said so much by admitting our failure to say when the verses apologize and bend to a beauty which can't be equalized by any verse

Dear Sandra, I like the rich facets of your feelings and warmth, they sparkle in the lines that you have written a diamond under the sunshine of love. keep on.

Sandra, it's a brilliant poem. I liked the expression, 'vocabulary fails to express the moment' Great poetry from the wonderful poem of poetess Sandra. To my favourite!
