Days Like This Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Days Like This

Rating: 5.0

Fallen leaves on autumn days
Moving with the morning breeze.
Memories won't go away,
Of better times,
Just you and me.

Light is fading into dark,
It's time to sleep,
to dream of you.
Days of running in the park,
Through the glistening morning dew.

Years have passed but memories not,
although my face has aged through time,
Inside I'm still that child again,
Reliving days,
those days so fine.

I'll cherish every moment spent,
with you in mind,
those moments shared,
For days like this were heaven sent,
To spend time with the one that cared.
