It was a sort of insanity
......A mind playing tricks on my eyes
.Hallucinations of magpies and marshmallows
......Floated through apricot skies


It was a breathtaking soiree' of sorts
......The sky was on fire with orange flame
.Below the tango was being danced incognito
......And animated characters walked the Red Carpet of Fame


It was a major 'Happening'
......Of disproporshinate size
.It sparkled with the colours of The Rainbow
......And ended in the occident with Rapsberry skies


Yes, the sun set on this day dream tripper
......And my brain, it came back down to Earth
.Recognizing the reality of pure sanity
......Life and love, now in rebirth


Peace and love they are here
......goodbye to my thoughts of running away
.Mind escape is no longer necessary
.......As i welcome the birth of my new day
