Dear Mother Poem by Sadia Gambari

Dear Mother

Rating: 5.0

You are the flower that blooms in adversity
Who didn't let a heartbreak or hardship bring her down
Learning and growing through every obstacle that comes her way
A woman with a lionheart who wanted to give up but didn't
Always believing tomorrow will be a brighter day
A woman of different caliber who I can't afford to lose
You are the prettiest rose in the garden of your father
A woman who puts people before herself
A woman who led a group of people through difficult times
You are not only my mother but my conquering hero, father, sister, the love of my life, and my world

Beautiful tribute to a mother, that is true for all mothers. As an immigrant I have know the feeling for living away from my mother and family. It also has made me very appreciative of family. Thank you for sharing.
