Death Is Hovering Around. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Death Is Hovering Around.

Rating: 5.0

An unexpected heart attack.
He falls down and dies.
He was my dear friend.
He dies in front of me.
I stand helpless and ask ‚why? ‘

Leprosy eats away body parts.
Doctors treat them as they can.
But patients die, miserably slowly.

An accident on the road.
Driver dies a miserable death,
suddenly without any preparation
for a death and an after-life in faith.

A mother of five loving children
dies of cancer and the children cry
loud to Almighty God.. „Why"

An accident on the road. Driver dies a miserable death, suddenly without any preparation for a death and an after-life in faith. A mother of five loving children dies of cancer and the children cry loud to Almighty God.. „Why.. .. cause death is hovering around. Death happens as per Karma. Beautiful poem on death and helplessness has been painted touchingly. Thank u dear sir for posting this poem.

Death can and does touch us all, take us all. Remembering this is important. It helps us be grateful and helps focus our living. This is why, it seems to me, that the hope of resurrection is central to our understanding... I am aware I write as one who thinks and writes with some distance from the immanence of death to me personally. But it’s the only way I can think and write of it now—not from my own experience mainly but from the most-reliable witness of Jesus himself. -Glen
