Death With God Poem by Tiffany Wolf

Death With God

Rating: 5.0

Death comes, and death strikes,
It comes and takes our lives.
Death can come and get anyone at all,
Watch your step, be careful of the eternal fall.
Be careful about what you say, do and think,
It can come and get you before you blink.
Be careful about what you say,
Because tomorrow might not come your way.
Death is coming, can't you see,
God's taking someone, will it be me?
Where are you going, heaven or hell,
God's the only one that can really tell.
Death takes lives everyday,
It might come and take yours away.
God's there for you no matter what hour,
He's there for you, even when you're sour.
God only asks us to do our best,
And then he'll take over and finish the rest.
Just you and yourself with the father above,
Let Him hold you with secure and love.
When you're sad, lonely and blue,
Just know that God's there for you.
So when you're sad, lonesome and full of sorrow,
Just think, another day will come, and that day is tomorrow.
