December Dawn Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

December Dawn

Rating: 3.5

M-ake Wednesday morning
A-ble to warm your heart;
Y-our birthday has come, Tuesday shadows depart.

A-llow the rain to fade
B-eacon begins to rise
E-vening chill disappears,
L-ight has opened your eyes.
L-et twenty-first daybreak brighten the dark and gray;
A-llow the dawn to shine on December, not on May.
