Decency, Plus More,Pretty Bad Bets Poem by Sandra Feldman

Decency, Plus More,Pretty Bad Bets

Rating: 0.5

Now men and women go around,
Killing decency,
The new hunt,
Insidious and blunt,
Not merely a publicity stunt,
Killing respect, honor, religion,
Swatting them down, as if they were flies,
Making a mockery of what was once right!
Today, only vulgar atrocities seem to fly
While respect, love and honor
Go out the window,
As if they were a bag of hot fries.
As all decency dies!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I will always fight for what I think is right.
If proven wrong, I will consider change.
But so far see no reason to believe we are doing better than before.
We're the only animal that know how to walk backwards.....
