Dedicated To John Redmond - Poem by kevin larder

An active man till accident came,
Fought his demons and made light of his travails,
Whether taking Sandy for a walk
Or having an opinion on any subject
John Redmond was “yer man”

Passionate about Ireland, Arklow and Roy Keane,
Amazed he had visited NYC,
Did you seen the boxing!
Proud standing …before Madison Square Gardens,
John Redmond was “grand so”

Remember John for what he was and meant,
Husband, grand dad and father in law
A conflicted man, “fair play to yer”
A “Fantastic dad”
John Redmond, the “big fella”
