Defy Defeatism
The days are so heavy.
Pains and weight of sadness
Press down on me,
Making each breath
Seems the last.
I am drowning,
Drowning......
But I forced myself
To focus on floating.
I will never,
Never give up
On life.
The pain I feel
Can fuel my purpose.
It can open an avenue
For happiness.
Giving up
Is never,
Never a part of me.
