Deliver Me Ol Lord - Poem by Joshua Winfield

Keep my feet from running aimlessly into sin
Better yet keep my feet from trotting on any path leading to sin
For that path leads to destruction
Lord you are the only savior
Through you only can I be saved
My plea is to you that you guard my path and me
Direct me to you
Thought it's many other paths
That promise the world
Trying to entangle me
I pray that you be the one that comes to my rescue
And delivers me from the jaws of the evil one
Teach me your ways show your path
So I can as like you as possible
I know I'm a retch but teach me how to be Godly
So I can hear the words well done good and faithful servant
