(121) Sweet, Sweet Jesus - Poem by Melvina Germain

I do not walk alone
for I’m covered by his blood.
He walks with me and talks with me.
My face shines for all to see
He carries me when I’m weak
Lifting me off my feet.
He is my savior, my truth, my all.
He gives me strength to stand very tall.
This morning I raise my hands in praise to Jesus
knowing in my heart, he will never leave us.
To my Father God in Heaven,
I’ve known you long before the age of seven
I thank you
Heavenly Father, for the gift of your only son
I’ll worship, praise and give you all the glory.
Your son Jesus is my everlasting story.
Father God, when all is said and done.
I’ll always praise my Sweet, Sweet Jesus
For many precious years to come.
Thank you Father God in the name of Jesus.
Sweet, Sweet Jesus

Hi Melvina and good morning to you. I loved your poem 'Sweet Sweet Jesus. I esp loved 'I’m covered by his blood'. So very true. I only wish I had more time to read more of your poems and the other poets poems. Just not enough hours in the day. TJ (Report)Reply

Melvina, love your most inspiring prayer poem, most especially reading it here today on the Sabbath!
Love to read, and do read most anything and everything i can get my hands on, but the Good Book is my favorite, and my most favorite times of the day are when i spend time talking to my Jesus, our sweet, sweet lamb, who lived and died for us, so that we could be sin free. Me, i had to work at it a bit, and he came looking for me, but do believe the presence of the holy ghost resides inside and he has given me a special gift!
Your words here today, simply cover it all. What would we do without him! ? As always, sweet friend, your words are simply Divine! Inspiration from a higher source! ? ! I say yes...You are yet another chosen vessel!
    Blessings and hugs,
    Theo
