Depth Of My Love - Poem by atumu emuejevoke

The depth of my love

If you don’t let us be

These are not mere words

They are straight from my heart

I’m like a ship cruising the ocean

The ocean of your love

Your eyes are my bearings

Your laughter keeps me assail

But I’ll drift ashore and aground

If your heart doesn’t anchor me

And your words could wreak me

If your rage storms against me

Oh dear please be mine

And I’ll sail the world with you
