Destiny Demands That Now I Must Go (English Sonnet) Poem by Gert Strydom

Destiny Demands That Now I Must Go (English Sonnet)

Rating: 5.0

Destiny demands that now I must go,
that for a time we both have to part,
while fate and life wants it as so,
where still you are strong in my heart,

yet at a time to you return I will,
as the shadows follows the hour,
the bees do the hive with honey fill,
that they do get from each flower,

as all of the seasons do return
with a summer following spring,
at a time the sun do hotter burn
and the rain does its blessings bring:

while sincere love has permanence as essence,
that it does fill up full with its own presence.

" while sincere love has permanence as essence that it does fill up full with its own presence" . Superb concluding poetic expression in an equally superb life song. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
