Development Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Development

No child can be instructed,
To think like an adult.
Or be one.

No child given an allowance,
Without it being connected...
To have deserved it being earned.

And no adult with a mind of a child,
Should be expected to accept responsibility.
Or have it believed being accountable,
For committing activities of misdeeds.
Is something without discipline,
No one taught to teach to value.

No child sitting behind a desk,
Dressed to impress...
What it is to be a leader.
To think it cute when a tantrum is thrown.
Done to do to condone,
From the beginning shown...
Is not an invitation,
For a disaster to develop until well known!
