Two friends talked over a term
While travelling by a tram
One: What a life in me!
Full with happiness, luxury, satisfaction
Other: Are you happy?
One: No
Other: What a life in me!
Full with miseries, demand, deprivation
One: Are you sad?
Other: No
The talking ended at the desired stoppage
No one was victorious
Both were in confusion
They left the stoppage separately and lonely.

Life is what you make of it. Nice imagery. You can have it all but still be unhappy

I see this so often when two people meet and talk yet never manage to connect or understand. Talking over a term on the tram....love those words. and the line, The talking ended at the desired stoppage conveys the theme through the words themselves. Thanks for sharing.
Discussion, Confusion And Separation, need pure sinfree mind to succeed, a great poem,10
A great philosophy and psychology wonderfully invention, thanks for the poem
two different world views on how happiness is perceived..the ending spells it out. Well written
Happiness is not vouched by money or by fulfilling material desires. The Vedic school that's why discerns between 'sukha' (pleasure) and 'Aanandam' (ecstasy) . What the Divine gives is AANANDAM and we must strive to achieve it.
