Do You See What I See Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Do You See What I See

Rating: 5.0

Do you see that man
The same president
Is he human
Or alien?

Do you see
Bigotry
Worm in apple tree
Tragic history?

Do you now see
Such misery
In democracy
Struggling to be free?

Do you see the end
My justified friend
In Trump's autocracy
Enslaving liberty?

Sadly, I see what you so adeptly wrote here. I too wanted change but really how could so many people have voted for a man saying he can make America great again and give no fact-substantiated ways to do that? We voters need to jump on the bandwagons less readily and perhaps not at all- -keep our minds open for new facts to come out during a lengthly campaign. Perhaps the voters have learned a lesson. All that glitters is not real gold.

Money buys power. And power corrupts. Thank you, Susan for reading and commenting.

Tragic history gives trembling effect in mind and body. Sometimes we think and get confusion. Human or alien whoever may be but he contains super intellect. Sometimes we see misery in democracy and feel so sad. But still we hope for the best of administration. We wish that everything will be fine ahead in democracy. This is an amazing ad brilliant poem shared here....10
