Dogs Sniff You To Get To Smell Know You Poem by Terence George Craddock

Dogs Sniff You To Get To Smell Know You

city dogs that live in penthouse apartments houses
are very different to town country dogs that roam
and even more different to farm dogs that work
dogs behaviour varies with circumstances
dogs know their master the hand that feeds
dogs know their home members of their packs
dogs are territorial and will defend their homes
dogs will defend their pack property from strangers

dogs are more protective of women alone than men
dogs time matters feed time the time of day or night
dogs watch the way you walk dogs scent fear nerves
dogs are very interested in the scent on you of other dogs
dogs have a pecking order scent superior inferior scents
dogs are crazy about a bitch in heat scent stirs up males

Good one. The last line you could easily replace man for dog. I guess its nature
