Don’t Love Too Much (To Dave) - Poem by Jolanta Gradowicz
Don’t love too much, friend, don’t do it.
Sometime I loved too much and now
I have restless nights and I admit
That I can’t grasp what happened and how.
Don’t love too much – obey me, my friend –
Not to be like an unfulfilled dream,
And not to brood on the inevitable end,
And not to follow the common scheme…
