Sir Knight of words
was quite disturbed
he thought he slew the dragon
they both fought hard
for hours and hours
and now he started flagging
he tried to lance it from his steed
but still he couldn't quite succeed
then fought it with his sword and shield
but still the dragon wouldn't yield
He ran back to his castle gates
for something bigger, better
and there he met his sweet soulmate
the Lady of the letters
she whispered this sweet maiden fair
to go back to the dragon's lair
and treat him gently and with care
for dragons have to live somewhere.
Ah - there goes the mystical warrior again - you really set the tone, and perfect imagery. I am once again in the days of yore. Thanks for the lovely trip! Linda
Lovely, live and let live. Wonderful write. Nicely done Charles. I love fairy tales with happy endings. Patricia
Live and let live: exactly. And what a fun way to say it! Smiling at you, Gina. PS: thank you for your lovely words on 'I Asked Him For a Kiss'. (10 marks) .
