Dreamers Matter Poem by Sona Wilae

Dreamers Matter

Rating: 5.0

Mangled swollen skins arrive
bleeding bitter dark prayers;
loathsome chants of naysayers
detached dreams dying alive

Cross wrath borders seething gold
seek anchor, desert heat fumes
disgusted skeletal tombs
foreign bloodline wealth resold

Fortune steps circling schools
bouncing life, twirling fair hair
speaking foreign tongues of flair
bright dreamers stunned by dark rules

Come seek lands built on distrust
Come expecting hued disgust
Seek out peace, as we all must
Seek justice from dawn to dusk.

I like the concept of the poem along with its rhyming. We need such dreamers who can fight evil forces and work for the emancipation of one and all. Thanks. I quote: Seek out peace, as we all must Seek justice from dawn to dusk.

Composition is beautiful as a verse! But difficult to decipher exactly! How can dreams be possible in a tyrannt's rule? So, all dreamers will die in such an harsh situation in life!

Unlike India, the US was built by the immigrants. But, we have to recall that the immigrants decimated the indigenous population and their culture. Not just that, the so-called immigrants perpetrated and perpetuated racism by slave trade. So the US society practices it still…
