Dreaming - Poem by Roman Kaya

I was dreaming.
The soft glow of moonlight breaks into my bedroom;
The stars fulfill their roles as messengers from far away lands,
The power of darkness surrounds me,
and still...
I dreamed of my future.
A dream that included my children to be,
And the smiling faces of my family.
I dreamed of happiness.
Beginning with a chance meeting that changed me forever;
I became the man I had always wanted to be,
Meeting the love of my life, and making her my wife.
My dream was about you.
Thank you for the wonderful gift you left behind.
Your daughter and I both wish we could turn back time.
It was a dream that ended much too soon.

    the trutrh of human existence
    can never be wiped out
    and the great mystery of love
    keeps the heart safe
    always safe
    from terrible disaster
    even when terrible disaster
    bangs the heart
    without mercy
    this poem blessing all
    who read it
    the mercy of each line
    a great comfort

    This sounds like bad news Roman. I hope it isn't, because it is such a beautiful dream. 10 from wishing you the best, Tai (Report) Reply
