Drowning Poem by David Harris

Drowning

Rating: 3.8

You get that feeling sometimes
no one wants to speak to you
and you begin to wonder
if you have done something wrong,
but you cannot remember what or when.
You feel crushed
and do not know what to do.
You seem lost in the world
among the purple hues.
No one wants to throw you
a lifeline to pull you out
of the feelings you are drowning in.
