Dumb As They Come



I resent you calling me dumb as they come.
At least when you called me ignorant,
I felt secure and amongst my peers.
But now,
You have ruined that by singling me out.
And since you have done that,
I am treated with envy and jealousy.
And I have never been one,
To seek that kind of attention
