zipper rubbing my neck
as my breathe steams
across narrow walkway
i can hear hurried steps,
whistle from traffic police
as sun peeking through trees
my plastic bag getting heavy
breakfast bread butter jelly
an orange juice and red plum
my taste buds contemplating
longing for very sweet date
phone rings; everything change
