It's a damp misty start,
To another new day,
But I'll shrug off this feeling,
And just make it pay,
For there's plenty to look at,
Over my coffee cup,
The birds are still singing,
As the sky opens up,
To a glimpse of some sunshine,
That peeps down from the sky,
Let's make the most,
For the day will pass by,
I'll look to the moment,
And just take each day,
One at a time,
For its the best way.
