Each Poem, Its Own Light Poem by Sandra Feldman

Each Poem, Its Own Light

Rating: 5.0

Some poems
Are just a spark,
A moment of imagined
Light,
To sooth, perhaps
A sudden fright,
Or praise Beauty's
Fleeting sight.

Others, go long
Sometimes,
Into the past,
Into philosophy,
Into feelings,
Felt or forthcoming,
Like fortune tellers,
Humming.

Poems are different
And so are Poets,
But who is to tell
What will last
Or what others
Will reap,
From it.
