Early Bird And The Worm
EARLY BIRD AND THE WORM
this bird wakes early
its pleasant, signature tune
sets my mind, abuzz
in its hideout a worm squirms
and stares at worn out, cliche
This poem is beautifully humorous and enjoyable! When food is abundant, even the late bird will get a share! Though the adage - 'An early bird catches the worm' has become a cliche now, it holds a lot of truth!
