Early Marriage Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Early Marriage

Rating: 5.0

The dark groom gets ready to leave
After waiting for whole night in hope
To have a nice marriage of his choice
He waits and waits to get morning

But cute morning waits for him not
Brightness of sun is written in luck
They marry each other in happiness
Night even does not able to witness.

Equality is the basis of relationships
They transfer this message in early
At early time of beginning all promise
They maintain beautiful day of life.

Having fun of this people seal roads
Brightness with courage breaks seal
Dazzling bride travels as day to dusk
Sun in chariot carries beloved queen.

I was married at the age of 22, and I know what are the charms of an early marriage. But now the circumstances have changed. One wishes to be completely settled in life before he/she is married. The advantage of early marriage I enjoyed when I was retired at the age of sixty. All my children were settled in their lives and I had no worry when I was retired............................10
