Ecstasy Is Retained By Rapture
R-apture retains its ecstasy
O-n this twelfth September;
N-ever will it let gladness go,
A-nd neither will it slumber.
L-aughter is kept by rapture,
D-enying the night sadness;
O-bscure clouds disappear, yielding to the brightness.
J-ubilation is just withheld,
O-bvious joy brings pleasure;
S-atisfaction is really reserved,
E-cstasy is retained by rapture.
