Edward Kofi Louis....(Translation)
Edward Koffie Louis,
Mijn bescheiden vers voor jou
weet niet dat je daar woont,
weet niet dat je op poemhunter bent,
op dat moment had ik geen ander,
ALS ik al deze dingen wist
in mijn gedachten gaat dan een ringeling
ah, nu weet ik dat je in Accra woont,
ik arriveer op deze prachtige luchthavenmega,
toen liet ik mijn chauffeur gaan
naar je gezellige residentie,
dan zullen we volop drinken,
een schattig kopje heerlijke Ghanese thee,
voordat ik mijn reis naar mijn Vinhie vervolg
ik groet je nu,
vrede met jou,
deze muze ben ik-in persoon

Vinhie is mijn eerste kleinzoon, nu bijna 3 jaar op 4 juli. Dit gedicht wordt nu aan Edward verteld omdat ik weet dat hij in Accra, Ghana woont NADAT ik terug naar Nederland ben gevlogen. ik was daar
twee weken.

Our great poet Edward Kofi Louis reside in Accra where your grandson also resides with his parents. In full excellence, a cute cup of delicious Ghanaian tea you shall drink when you shall meet such great poet before having journey to your grandson.
