Ennui Poem by Michael Shepherd

Ennui

Rating: 0.5

sometimes
when I feel like reading
nothing much
but not nothing
just something
I pick up your
gentle fantasies
and start to read
like when the two of you
are sitting in the
dentist's waiting room
making occasional remarks
which you've forgotten
before you said them

Dear Michael, This is a fine, tight poem. Well- written and thought provoking. Best, Hugh
