Ensnared Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Ensnared

Rating: 3.0

I'm spellbound by those wicked eyes
Will they save me
From this horrid demise?
So many chances I'm bound to take...
Will I regret them enough to forsake my cause?
If I fall away into the night
This blissful life amid the trees
Will I surrender?
To the defender of my soul?
The one who keeps me sane?
Fall into the arms of sweet oblivion
And feel truly alive?
Tell me, am I strong enough
To shed my past and embrace
A hope in the shaky future?
Will you love me forevermore
As I have pledged to you?
Will you turn this daunting doom
Into a dark dream of the soothing night?
Will you save my life?
