Even Its Roots No One Hardly Sees Exposed Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Even Its Roots No One Hardly Sees Exposed

Cutting down a single tree,
Affects all of its leaves and branches.
Everything connected dies in one way ot another.
Even its roots no one hardly sees exposed,
Above ground.

That's why it pays to show respect.
One never knows,
Who's watching their back...
With a taking for granted,
Whatever they do is not being observed.
