Evening Prayer In The Temple Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Evening Prayer In The Temple

Rating: 5.0

It was a beautiful evening,
The temple looked fascinating,
Many people assembled in the prayer,
To me their intention was not clear.
I sat with them
And folded my hands in the same,
I did not know the reason,
Slowly I became a part of this season.
The prayer made my mind serene,
And my soul became completely clean,
I was so much impressed by the solemn prayer
That since then I had been there.

A prayer has an immense power of soothing a tormenting mind and giving a new direction to the life of one who surrenders completely before the Almighty.
