So tired of hearing
'Keep your head up, it will get better'
When seem to only get worse
With every day that passes
Every minute that ticks by
Slipping into this subconscious daze
As if a walking statue and no words to come
All the pain-loneliness-emptiness
Numb to the bone
And all hopes of ambition
Vanished by this dreadful despair

Alone always walking through
This endless path of no return
Unable to turn around-unable to come back
Lost forever to the everlasting darkness
Already dead inside-so many years ago
Everyday struggling to keep it together
But instead I'm
Falling apart-broken down-hit rock bottom
Darkness overflows every ounce of light
Before these eyes

If one could see the misery
Could look deep into these eyes
Could feel every ounce of sorrow
Every part of me
Your walls would crumble and collapse all around
As you scream out in anguish
Wishing it was over

Why do I hurt so badly?
When has so much
Why do I feel the way I do
When supposed to feel bliss
Why do I feel so alone-abandon-betrayed
No one to turn to in these hard times
So why face this excruciation any longer

Thoughts twirling and swirling
Round and round in my head
Drowning me in this suicide attempt
Pushing me farther and deeper
Down this black hole
Succumbed by the negativity holding me in
Finally surrrendering to this dark realm
I might as well call home

No longer waiting to see what my furture brings
No longer waiting for a destiny that never was
I know now this is my fate
I've given up-lost the fight
Of only bit of courage keeping me together
Joy now destroyed-happiness now departed
This hollow heart refuses to beat another moment
As I grow so weary and defeated
Just a minute away-that is all it takes
And there will be no more sadness
Nor distress that lives inside this soul
Can finally say my last goodbye
As I leave behind this life
The demons have won-taking over
Has come to an end at last-My Story
As I fall free to the Everlasting Darkness.
