Expecting Nothing To Happen Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Expecting Nothing To Happen

Showers of rain fall, leaving me cleansed and
fulfilled, and being cautioned by inner fears.

Walked out into the thunderous night filled
with extraordinary lightening striking the sky
with a brilliance that cannot be denied nor
shied away from.

Expecting nothing to happen, walking through it all,
letting the rain fall throughout the night.

loved the memories energy this poem invokes, I thrill to tempests and lack the inner fears, in thunderous skies I am often most alive, nice writing, I enjoyed
