Experience Something Different Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Experience Something Different

Experiences given,
The freedom to have them.
Takes risks and chances.
With disappointments to regret.
Although choices to move forward,
Many choose more cautiously...
To learn from mistakes made.
And not to repeat the same made steps.

Yet...
Limited many remain to stay.
Living lives unchanged to complain.
Then heard to say,
What it is they should do.
But afraid to make a move.
To explore and experience 'something'.
Anything to prove for themselves,
That the sky is blue.
Grass is green.
Flowers bloom.
And people of different races,
Can be witnessed in conversation.
Without paying admission,
To do this only in amusement parks.

"Whether you accept what I say or not.
I'm telling you,
I saw this with my own eyes."
