Exposing To Validate Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Exposing To Validate

The moment one rushes to judgement.
Based solely upon hearsay.
And absent are the facts.
That is the one,
Who lives to rely on assumptions.
With it done to prove,
How easy it is to be made a fool.
And today...
Fools to use as tools are quicker,
To say and do misdeeds to others.
With their makers already prepared,
To excuse and deny any involvement.
Leaving the fool,
Not only embarrassed.
But also the one known,
Thoughtless without a mind...
To claim it theirs to own.
And today,
Many minds have either been borrowed.
On loan.
Or have expired to have timed out.
Exposing to validate,
Their uselessness.
